Clean Room, In-room Binder

We stayed at this motel as our base to visit Sleeping Bear Dunes. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We liked the room lock with keypad; we wouldn't worry about being locked out during our stay. The owners put a lot of effort into writing down useful information inside the room binder, which helped us explore the area better.

Great Value

This little facility is a step above the typical dive motel, especially for the price. The room was spacious and clean, and we appreciated that we could park right in front of our room. The check-in and check-out process was the easiest I've ever experienced!

Nice Bathroom, Great Amenities

The small bathroom was adequate, although opening the packaging around the tiny soaps took some effort. However, overall, the bathroom was clean, and the amenities provided were just right for our needs during the stay.

Your Michigan Vacation Home

We absolutely loved Pleasant Valley Resort's cottage #10! Everything was clean, welcoming, and peaceful. It was so nice to leave the windows open at night for the lovely cool air and to be able to cook simple meals for ourselves. The binder full of local area information was a thoughtful touch and enhanced our stay immensely.

We had a lovely stay at Pleasant Valley resort cottage #10. The cottage was clean, welcoming, and gave us a peaceful retreat for our adventures. Tom and Shannon went out of their way to make us feel at home, and the information provided in the binder was incredibly helpful. On the downside, while the area is beautiful and quiet, we missed having a more scenic view from the cabin.
